Idiosyncrasies

Some idiosyncrasies with efs overlay add-on formulas: Most of the time those of us who have been using a product for a long time forget the minor obstacles a new user encounters when he/she starts from fresh. Well I know how it is so here are a few tips to make your initial life with eSignal more enjoyable.

Most of the time you will only need to reposition your chart from the default eSignal positions when you load a new symbol or change your current time frame display.

The XABCD is a transparent overlay when it is loaded in eSignal, as a consequence it competes with the information displayed on the basic chart loaded by eSignal.

If for instance you had some TEXT or Lines drawn in your eSignal chart and the XABCD overlay was
on top of them you might fail to activate an XABCD command with a right click as eSignal would think you were editing the line or text under the overlay. This can be overcome by left clicking in your chart and dragging the offending material out from under the XABCD command. When you have activated the XABCD routine you can drag the chart back to its original position.
